THE DIVINE MOTHERHOOD OF MARY

It must be remembered that it was the will of the Lord to be incarnated in a woman, and that this woman was his Mother. God did not need a Mother, but He wanted to act in this way in His plan of Salvation, and by His Will Mary was chosen as Mother of God "for nothing is impossible with God." (Lk 1:37)
