Prayer of the bride and groom
In my heart, Lord, love has been kindled for a creature whom You know and love. You yourself have made me meet her and presented her to me. I thank you for this gift which fills me with deep joy, makes me like you, who are love, and makes me commit myself to the value of the life you have given me. Teach me that love is a gift and that it cannot be mixed with any selfishness; that love is pure and that it cannot fall into any baseness; that love is fruitful and that from today it must produce a new way of living in both of us. I pray to you, Lord, for the one who waits for me and thinks of me; for the one who walks beside me; make us worthy of each other; may we be a help and a model. Help us in our preparation for marriage, its greatness, its responsibility, so that from now on our souls may dominate our thoughts and lead them in love. Amen.


Prayer of the bride and groom to Our Lady our Mother:
In your name we have united our hearts. We want you to preside over our love; to defend, preserve and increase our illusion. Remove from our path any obstacle that may create shadows or doubts between us. Keep us from the selfishness that paralyzes true love. Deliver us from the lightness that endangers the grace of our souls. Make our work a help and encouragement to achieve them fully. Preserve the health of our bodies. Solve our material needs. And make the dream of a new home and children born of our love a reality and a path that leads us rightly to your heart. Amen.


Prayer to St. Joseph, Guardian and Father of Virgins:
St. Joseph, to whose faithful custody were entrusted the very innocence, Christ Jesus, and the Virgin of virgins, Mary. By these two dearest garments, Jesus and Mary, I beg and beseech Thee to obtain for me that, preserved from all impurity, I may always serve Jesus and Mary with a clean soul, pure heart and chaste body. Amen. 

My Blessed God, I am grateful for the countless blessings you give me daily, for the opportunities you give me to be happy, to enjoy my loved ones, to find the peace and tranquility I need in your beautiful creations, thank you Beloved Father, for allowing me to meet the wonderful person who is my spouse, thank you Eternal God for allowing us to get married and stay together until today. The roads of marriage are not easy Divine Lord, many tests are presented daily, the routine, work and fatigue, are things that sometimes make us question our decision to be together, they make us wonder if we do the right thing. And it is in the midst of so many doubts, of so many trials, that you make yourself present my Lord and show us the way again, with your light and your word, you show us that at your side nothing is impossible Beloved God, that we can do anything and against us no one, because being with you Lord, we become stronger, we become invincible.

Father of love, make us strong on the road of marriage, may we overcome adversity holding your hand. In this prayer Beloved God, I ask for your constant guidance, to teach us and guide us to make the right decisions, may we never be guided by anger, or the anger of the moment, help us to always have kind words for each other, may we always be kind in the way we act. Help us, Eternal Father, to put our love above everything and everyone, that temptation and lust for other people do not penetrate our marriage, that we do not turn to look at others, and that we always know how to respect each other, even when we are absent. My Lord, it is very easy nowadays to give up and look for separation, to look for the easiest way to get out of any problem, nobody fights anymore to preserve their love, their union, nobody wants to give their arm to twist for the other, I ask you Merciful God, do not let us fall into this mistake, let us always fight for our love and to preserve our union.

Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). Make us strong Holy Father, make us one in this world of temptations, may we not give up in the face of adversity, may we not fall into the game of third parties who only want to separate us and end our precious marriage. I ask you Almighty God, that with your sacred hand you give us your blessing, that we know how to listen to each other, communicate, and above all understand each other, help us blessed God, because we need your constant support and advice. Problems are inevitable, we can not always agree on everything, but I beg you my Lord, give us the calm and patience to understand the other, to put us in their place and to see things in their way, so that we can understand each other better and reach a mutual agreement in different situations.

Dear God, I pray for the couple who will accompany my days and who will be my constant support in the formation of a family. Beautiful God, may the union that You allowed not be broken by man, do not allow our mistakes to be greater than our love, and help us to see things clearly, help us to be a worthy example of love for each other for our children, so that they can see in us a model to follow and a constant guide on how to lead a marriage to success. Help us to always keep the spark of our love alive my God, may we find in the simple and routine things the beauty of marriage, may we be a team in search of the same victory, without forgetting who we are. Bless our marriage Dear God, bless us to stay together despite the difficulties, the mistakes and the temptations of the enemy, but above all my Lord, teach us to forgive, and to ask forgiveness for our faults and do not let pride prevent us from showing how much we love each other.
